Janine Reynolds Rose

Still wild by nature. My gypsy spirit is now in Lemoore, California! My son Miles graduated UC Santa Cruz and studied global economics. His first love is music. During my years in the San Joaquin Valley, I longed to find a place more suited to me, by the whistling trees & flowing water ~ Northern California was that place. I've lived in Southern cal, Colorado & Ashland, Oregon (Miles born here) and Montana. My family is originally from Montana (mom's relations) & Georgia (dad's relations). I'm still single after all these years, and it's no wonder because I don't stay still.

Father was in the navy. I moved to the base from San Diego where I attended kindergarten. We moved to Lemoore & I attended Lemoore Elementary grades 1-5 where I remember chasing a lot of boys. I was a junior olympic trackster, married Bart Warner in the 4th grade (ceremony & kisses) & was scolded by the principal. I still remember Bart & can say that yes, I have been married. We used to dress up as an Old Man & Woman, curlers & canes. From what I remember, we did fancy each other. My family moved to Hanford before I started 6th grade. I met my dearest girlfriends at Woodrow Wilson, Debbie, Mendy, Jana, Lisa, Marsha, Kellie & Susan (she married my brother, well he's my x-brother-in-law). They are my connections to my past years & I will always cherish our friendships. There's some special boy friends from my class & if you were one of them, you know who you are!!!

Mrs. Deruiter, Business Skills. She was very serious about whatever subject she was teaching. She helped me to get 2nd place @ state in shorthand. Although I rarely use the skill these days, I did learn a great deal from the experience. I'll always remember Coach Stangle! Math teachers, Mr. Hunington & Mr. Eberle were my mathematical inspirations, and not to forget Mr. Beigel from Woodrow Wilson, another mathematical prodigy!
