Hey everyone,
This has been so much fun to reconnect with so many people. Thanks Colleen for doing this!!!

I am so disappointed that I will not be able to make it to the reunion. I have to be in California in June and just cannot hang out until August...it's hard to believe that I don't have any family in Hanford anymore.

I did have an idea that could help include those of us like me who won't be able to attend the reunion. Maybe you could have a computer or computers set up with Skype and a webcam and people could connect in during a specific time period (think Oprah show)...We're living in the age of all of this wonderful technolgoy. I know it probably adds one more logistical distraction to all of the hard work that you are already putting in...so it's just a thought :)

I may be able to get to Hanford in the second half of June if anyone is up for a pre-reunion get together.
All the best to everyone,
Cathy

Excellent idea Cathy, and one I wanted to bring to the next reunion committee meeting. We can do a type of "Meet and Confer" program on laptops and maybe even have a table set up just for that!

Cathy,

I too think this is a GREAT!!!! Idea. With the size of our class someone has to be the computer pro so that we can make this happen. It would be great to be able to do a group thing that night.

I agree, Colleen, we need to discuss this at the meeting. Will you be able to be there? Hope so.

Cyndy

Hey all you Monroe Mustangs,

Does anyone remember a girl by the name of Kim Still? I think she was in school with us 1st - 3rd. If so, does anyone know how to get in touch with her?

Thanks for the info.
Cyndy

Hi All! I just signed up last night, and have reconnected with at least 5 young and vibrant classmates from yester-years. You have done a great job with this site, thank you! The 25 year reunion was great. I lived much closer than I do now, but will try and see what I can do. Love you all!

So Happy to see everyone in Oct, Reunion 35 is around the corner. Thanks to all you on the commitee, for all your hard work. I'm sure it will be perfect. Sounds like after talking to one of the Dream Team, they're also having a reunion celebration. What an Awesome time to be in town with everyone. So far sounds like Thursday night (Bullpup) Football. Applebee's is the place to be Sat. for lunch/brunch. Friday night, a few places were mentioned. Maybe a barn fire at the Rain Forest...lol. Wow! What stories come to mind. I'm such a kid again. Hope your all making plans. This will also be the first time my brother Lewis and I will be in town together in many years. Love all the pics and posts. Catch me on fb, and I hope we can once again join one another for an Amazing time of Celebration and Memories.

Love you all!

Neil

I heard some sad news this morning and wanted to confirm or deny. I heard Gary Bobo and Ricky Alvardo had both passed away. If so does anyone have any information regarding funeral services? Greg Creson

The memorial for Gary Bobo is June 19th  at Howard Chapel. at 11 A.M. I believe. Please correct me if I got the date and time wrong.

Jana Coon (Holmstrup)

The date and time for Garry's service is correct.  Thank you, Martin.  I posted his obituary today.

Also received a second notice from Rick Alvarado's niece that he passed away on May 29th.  A memorial service is unknown at this time and I will send an update when I hear back from them.

This is such sad news and breaks my heart.  Glad we have the sweet memories that bring us smiles!  Love to you all - hug a friend and take care of your health!  xoxo

Don't know if there will be a class reunion or not. Was thinking of something else that could work in case there isn't or not. Would a group of you be interested in going to seeing me in "Our Town" at Second Space? We run from the 16th of this month to the first weekend in October. If a large amount of you want to see me in that could meet you all afterwards at a restaurant. If any of you are interested could you meesage me or let me know here? We could decide on a spefic date when people start replying. There is a group discount. Again will give you more details if a large amount of people are interested in going. Hugs to you all.

Hi Martin, whenever you decide date of a reunion, this would be a good way to see connect with everyone. I would love to go!

Getting back to you on the class reunion. Those interested can you private message me or call or text at 381 2167? The plan is to see "Our Town" at Second Space which I am performing in and have dinner afterwards at a restaurant. I am thinking a Thursday or Satufday night. Is there any night that works better than another? I will pick a date after I have collected responses. And then give you the reservation and times for the shows too. Look forward to hearing from you all.

An update on the informal reunion on the last Saturday of this month. The plans in case anyone wants to is to meet before the show at 6 P.M. at Dennys on Blackstone and shields. Am open again for other restaurant options. Or to just decide after the play where to go and how many want to go after the play. For those who are going to the play can you either message me here or text me at 381 2167. And let me know if you already reserved or are going to. There probably is not going to be a sell out. So probably can reserve within the next week or not. And let me know if you are going to meet for dinner. Or have other options for dinner. Thanks, Martin Maryiinez.

I never got responses on the dinner part of our informal reunion this Saturday. So we will just decide after the play where we want to go and who is wanting to have dinner afterwards. All suggestions are welcome. By the way need to tell everybody how we can meet and talk afterwards. The exit sign at the end of the theater leads to a hall where you can wait until we get out of costume. Or you can just wait in front of the theater and will be out after five minutes. Look forward to seeing all who can make it this Saturday. Any additional questions text me at 381-2167. Or email me. Martin Martinez.
