Carolee Blackham Bowen

Still married to my husband Dean, 32 years. I live in Evanston, Wyoming, which is in the southwest corner of the state, about 80 miles east of Salt Lake City, Utah. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. We live in Wyoming because my husband works for a natural gas company. I am Executive Director for an arts presenting organization that puts on events all year including Uinta County Concert Series; Specialists in the School Project; Young Musicians Festival; Music, Arts and Theatre Camp (MAT Camp); and Ceili at the Roundhouse Celtic Festival. I am also a musician and have recorded 5 CDs and perform with 3 different orchestras. I enjoy traveling, with my next trip being southeast Asia in a year, hopefully. I am enjoying my life and hope I never have to retire. I have never been to a high school class reunion but have enjoyed looking at the profiles on this site.

I grew up in Hanford because that is where my family lived. My father, Bruce Blackham owned a pharmacy in Hanford. I spent all 4 of my high school years at Hanford High, but graduated early, in Dec. 1978. Sometimes I wonder what happened to my friends at that time. I wish all the classes had a website like this.

My most memorable classes were music classes, band and choir.

My fondest memories in high school were band and choir trips, football games and cruising main.
